Born and raised in California, I made beautiful Qingdao my home in 2010. I began my career in Qingdao teaching Math and Science and have since played a variety of roles at international schools including: Multiple Subject Teacher, Learning Resource Center Director, Athletic and Activity Director, Director of Students with Special Needs, and Director of Curriculum and Professional Development.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2006 and worked in private business for several years as a Project Manager. I then earned my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in Cross-Cultural Instruction in 2009. I am currently in the process of earning my Education Specialist Level 1 Mild/Moderate credential to further my ability to serve the needs of all students.
I am looking forward to unifying and improving the direction and content of the curriculum and classroom experience going forward while also helping teachers and students reach their full professional and social potential.
